Philippians 4:12-13

David “Coach” Nelson

David Nelson loved to coach the “X‘s and O‘s” of American football, but even more than that, he desired to coach the hearts and souls of young men. Even after winning a Texas state championship in 2016, he was quoted as saying that he would not know for another 10 or 15 years if the season was successful until he sees what kind of husbands, fathers, and men his players will become.

To Coach Nelson, football was a ministry, and he was always looking for ways to give his program an edge over his competition so he can increase his global impact by coaching more young men in the way of the Lord. Coach Nelson‘s philosophy of “how you do anything is how you do everything” proved to be true because he now uses his coaching ability to serve as a men‘s pastor, Bible professor, and app developer/podcaster for men’s discipleship.

When Coach Nelson isn’t leading men, he can be seen dancing with Tamara, his wife of 28 years, being a “girl-dad” to his four daughters, working out, hunting, or soaking up God’s love in nature.

Alonso Blanchet

Alonso is a pastor in Tomball, Texas. He has participated in pastoral roles in the Church for the last ten years and over the last two years has fully embraced the journey to Biblical contentment.

He seeks to always lead with grit, conviction, and an unwavering commitment to biblical masculinity. A husband and father of two daughters, he understands the weight of responsibility that comes with being a man of God.

Passionate about discipling men, he challenges them to lead themselves and those around them with strength, integrity, and most of all, allegiance to King Jesus.
